The three-day, 54-hole tournament was completed on Wednesday at the Arizona National Golf Course in Tucson, Arizona.
Pepperdine carded rounds of 294-292-290 to post a 54-hole total of 876 and defeat runner-up and No. 6 USC by a commanding 14-stroke margin.
Arizona State placed third in the final team standings at 895, followed by No. 11 Tennessee (897) and Stanford (902). Other teams competing at the tournament included host and top-ranked Arizona, No. 3 Vanderbilt and No. 10 Washington.
"We were able to put together three solid rounds of golf against top-flight competition and it was a total team effort," said Pepperdine head coach Laurie Gibbs. "The most impressive thing about this tournament is that we won in convincing fashion without relying heavily on Katherine and Lindsey to carry a majority of the load. Carolina, Courtney and Rachel each played outstanding golf, and that says a lot about the quality of depth on our current roster."
It marked the second significant tournament victory for Pepperdine during the month of February.
Earlier this month the Waves won the prestigious Northrup Grumman Regional Challenge at the Palos Verdes Golf Course in Palos Verdes, California.
Erica Blasberg of Arizona won the individual title with a three-under par score of 210. Mikaela Parmlid of USC finished second at one-over par 214, while Lindsay Morgan Washington placed third at 215.
Freshman Carolina Llano, playing in just her second collegiate tournament, was the top individual performer for the Waves, finishing in fourth place at four-over par 217. Llano carded rounds of 71-71-75.
Senior All-American Lindsey Wright finished in sixth place with a total of 219, while sophomore Rachel Kyono posted a round of even-par 71 today and finished alone in eighth place at 221.
Senior All-American Katherine Hull rebounded from a round of 76 on Monday and finished the tournament in a six-way tie for ninth place at 222.
Rookie Courtney Clark opened the tournament with a round of 84, but then fired solid rounds of 73 and 75.
Pepperdine returns to action next week when the Waves compete in the San Jose State Spartan Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will be contested March 4-5 at the Coral de Tierra Country Club in Monterey.
