COMPLETE #WCCCHAMPS RELEASE

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -
The 2018 West Coast Conference Golf Championships will be held at the Carlton Oaks Golf Club in Santee, California. The event runs from Monday, April 16 through Wednesday, April 18.

BYU captured its second WCC crown last season in their friendly confines of Provo, Utah. Peter Kuest and Hayden Shieh tied for first, each shooting 205 while both shooting 68 on the final day. It came down to a playoff then, where Kuest prevailed to earn medalist honors. As a unit, the Cougars’ 24-under was the second best score in WCC Championship history.

The Cougars earned a spot in the NCAA postseason along with Pepperdine and Saint Mary’s, but the Waves went the distance with a 13th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
