Pepperdine's Sahith Theegala Captures September WCC Golfer of the Month
Junior posted 70.33 stroke average for the Waves
SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference has announced the WCC Men's Golfer of the Month for September.

The Pepperdine junior led the Waves at each of the first two tournaments, both of which were played against tremendous competition. Theegala took third place with a 6-under 207 at the season-opening Gopher Invitational, then tied for 24th at the Trinity Forest Invitational. Four of his six rounds were below par (five of the six were at or below par) and he averaged 70.33 strokes. He moved into the Waves' all-time top 10 with his 20th career top-20 finish.
The Gopher Invitational included eight schools that played in the 2017 NCAA Championships (and three others that went to regionals) and Trinity Forest had six and three, respectively.
