New WCC All-Access Series Premieres in December
Magazine Show to Highlight West Coast Conference Each Month on TV, Digital
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference is proud to announce that WCC All-Access will premiere on several broadcast outlets in December. WCC All-Access tells the story of the West Coast Conference, its institutions, teams, and student-athletes – both on and off the field. The fast-paced magazine show features interviews with WCC coaches and student-athletes, the most exciting highlights, behind-the-scenes access, and compelling feature stories.
“WCC All-Access provides a unique opportunity for the West Coast Conference to promote and share the stories of our student-athletes, coaches, sport programs and institutions,” WCC Commissioner Lynn Holzman said. “We want to leverage the power of visual media to showcase the action on the field and court as well as what happens on a daily basis away from that arena to West Coast Conference fans.”
The first WCC All-Access show recaps the successful fall season, and features an inside look at the Loyola Marymount University volleyball team and a special bond on the Pepperdine women’s soccer team. Viewers will go behind-the-scenes from the West Coast Conference Basketball Tip-Off, hearing from their favorite men’s and women’s head coaches and student-athletes. Giving back is an important part of the WCC experience, and All-Access shows how the WCC student-athlete advisory committee spent quality time with some Bay Area youth. The show also looks at the best plays from the fall.
“We are extremely thankful for our terrific broadcast partners who have helped to bring these great stories to life to a larger audience than ever before," Associate Commissioner Jeff Tourial said.
The debut episode of WCC All-Access will premiere on Spectrum SportsNet throughout Southern California on Saturday, December 2, with several additional airings throughout the month. NBC Sports California (Northern California), ROOT Sports Northwest, and Stadium will also air the show a number of times each month. For a complete list of airtimes, visit the WCC All-Access home page . In addition, each show will be available on-demand on the Conference’s digital platform, TheW.tv.
