Gaels' Jake Rudel Named WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Saint Mary's sophomore forward Jake Rudel has been named the West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

The sophomore striker recorded a hat trick in the Gaels' 5-0 win against Loyola Marymount on the weekend. The hat trick was the program's first since 2006 and is just the third performed by a West Coast Conference men's soccer student-athlete this season.

Rudel leads the Gaels with six goals on the year and 13 points.
