SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- After three weeks of West Coast Conference play, one game separates four teams atop the WCC women's basketball standings. Gonzaga is 5-1 after snapping BYU's nine-game winning streak last week. Saint Mary's and Santa Clara are both 4-1, while the Cougars are 3-1.
WCC QUICK HITS
Gonzaga snapped BYU's nine-game winning streak with a 74-59 win over the Cougars in Spokane last Thursday. WCC Player of the Week Haiden Palmer led the way with 13 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals for the Bulldogs.
Four WCC teams are currently in the NCAA RPI Top 100: (46) Saint Mary's, (50) Gonzaga, (83) Santa Clara and (87) BYU.
The February 21st matchup between Gonzaga and Santa Clara will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Network at 6 p.m. PST.

BYU point guard Haley Steed ranks second in the NCAA with 7.7 assists per contest. Steed is also third in the country with a 2.86 assist-to-turnover ratio, joined by Gonzaga guard Jazmine Redmon, whose 2.36 assist-to-turnover ratio ranks 15th in the NCAA.
