Pepperdine’s Patricia Wong Takes October WCC Golfer of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced the WCC Women’s Golfer of the Month for October.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE MONTH (OCTOBER): PATRICIA WONG, JR. - PEPPERDINE
Junior Patricia Wong posted two top-five finishes among her three tournaments in October. She had a career-best tie for second place at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate with an 8-under 208 (also a career best for a 54-hole score), and she also took fifth place at the UC Irvine Invitational. She averaged 72.56 strokes in her nine rounds, and had four below-par rounds. She helped the Waves to their second team runner-up finish of the season at UC Irvine.

68-69-71=208 (-8, T-2nd place)
Stanford Intercollegiate (par 71)
75-73-80=228 (+15, T-50th place)
UC Irvine Invitational (par 72)
74-72-71=217 (+1, 5th place)

STROKE AVERAGE: 72.56
