SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference has named its Women's Soccer Player of the Week for November 4, 2013.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
MORGAN MARLBOROUGH, SR., F, SANTA CLARA
For the second time this season, Santa Clara senior Morgan Marlborough is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week. Marlborough registered a hat trick for the second consecutive week as the Broncos remained perfect in conference play. Against Pepperdine, Marlborough exploded for three goals and one assist. After falling behind 2-0 early, the Broncos roared back to beat the Waves 9-2, the second nine-goal performance in three games. Two days earlier, she fired off 10 shots -- with six on goal -- against LMU.
The first-place Broncos (7-0-0 WCC) visit Portland (6-1-0) on Thursday in a nationally-televised showdown on ESPNU.
