BYU's Payne honored as Scholar All-American

Junior Carlee Payne was named to the Scholar All-America Third Team for her excellence in the classroom, and on the field, throughout the 2011 season. She was the only women's soccer player from the West Coast Conference included on any of the three teams.

The University of San Francisco welcomes Jim Millinder, a two-time Pac-10 Coach of the Year, as the new head women's soccer coach as announced today by USF Director of Athletics Scott Sidwell. An outstanding coach with elite coaching and playing experience, Millinder comes to the Dons after an exhaustive national search.

Five WCC players named All-Americans by NSCAA

Five West Coast Conference women's soccer standouts have been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America as NCAA All-Americans. Santa Clara sophomore midfielder Julie Johnston was selected to the First Team.

19 WCC student-athletes named to All-Region teams

19 West Coast Conference student-athletes were named to the All-West Region teams, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced. After placing four teams in this year's NCAA tournament, seven WCC players have been named to the NCAA Women's Division I All-West team.
