SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named Pepperdine junior Luisa Stefani the West Coast Conference Women’s Singles Player of the Week and the Santa Clara duo of Madison Clarke and Maddie Pothof the Women’s Doubles Team of the Week.

After a few weeks’ hiatus, the Waves came back strong as ever as No. 36 Luisa Stefani returned to the No. 1 position for Pepperdine and immediately dominated the court with a 6-0, 6-4 win over No. 29 Anna Bright in the Waves’ 6-1 win over No. 44 Cal in Berkeley. The win put Pepperdine in a position to clinch with a 3-0 advantage over the Golden Bears and was her third in the dual campaign for an untarnished 3-0 record in the No.1 position for her team.
