West Coast Conference Announces Volleyball Co-Players of the Month

SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce its September Volleyball Co-Players of the Month, BYU's Jennifer Hamson and Loyola Marymount's Kathleen Luft. WOMEN'S CO-VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS OF THE MONTH JENNIFER HAMSON, BYU, JUNIOR, OPPOSITE HITTER Hamson had one double-double in September, recording 15 kills and 11 digs against Portland State to help the Cougars win the BYU Nike Invitational. She also tallied a career-high nine blocks against San Francisco while contributing nine kills and 10 digs. With the nine blocks, Hamson totaled 46 blocks on the month. Hamson was named MVP of two of the team's three invitationals played in September and was named to the all-tournament team in the third. She also earned one WCC Player of the Week award for her performance in the BYU Nike Invitational, her second such award of the season.
