San Diego’s Kennedy Seizes Volleyball Weekly Honors
Senior opposite averaged 5.0 kills, 5.3 points per game in back-to-back sweeps
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has named its Volleyball Player of the Week for November 6, 2017.

Senior opposite hitter Jayden Kennedy powered No. 13 San Diego to back-to-back home sweeps against Saint Mary’s and Pacific and collected her second West Coast Conference weekly honors of the season. Kennedy amassed 30 kills on 53 swings, hitting at a .434 clip for the week.
Kennedy collected a pair of 15-kill matches last week, hitting an impressive .522 against the Tigers and followed up with a .367 success rate against the Gaels on Saturday. The Oshawa, Ontario Canada native led the Toreros to their eighth and ninth consecutive victories and 14th and 15th sweeps of the season.
