BYU's Jennifer Hamson Earns WCC Volleyball Player of the Month

WCC on Facebook | Follow @WCCsports SAN BRUNO, Calif. --- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce its November Volleyball Player of the Month, BYU's Jennifer Hamson. WCC WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE MONTH JENNIFER HAMSON, BYU, JUNIOR, OPPOSITE HITTER Junior opposite hitter Jennifer Hamson led BYU to a share of the WCC title in November for the team's first time earning the honor. Hamson led the Cougars with 4.48 kills per set, also contributing 2.57 digs per set and 1.43 blocks per set. Hamson also led the way in BYU's first NCAA Tournament match since 2007, pushing BYU to a sweep of New Mexico State in the first round with 13 kills, 12 digs and seven blocks. Under Hamson's leadership, BYU went 5-1 on the month, only losing to co-champions San Diego in a tight five-set battle.
